Warm temperature disclaimer: We live in New Mexico. New Mexico gets very hot during the summer months. Like 104 degrees hot. At that temperature chocolate get soft and melts. While your candy will never be subjected to that temperature while in our possession, we do not have any control over what happens to the package once it leaves our hands.

To help with this, we make our chocolates in rough bar form and vacuum pack it for shipment. If your chocolate arrives in soft/partially melted form, just put the item package in your refrigerator for 30 minutes. This will not affect the quality, taste or safety of the chocolate. It will harden back up and can then be broken into pieces at your convenience.

Chocolate arriving in soft/partially melted form is not considered to be a defective item and is not cause for a refund. If you don't wish to deal with this issue, then please do not order chocolate between May 15th and October 15th each year. Frankly, we can't do without chocolate for that long.
